The Empowered Exit Financial Planning Process

Step 1: In depth Pre-Work

Before we meet, you’ll complete a detailed assessment questionnaire designed to surface the real state of your personal finances, the kind of details your household needs to check, detect, inspect, and prevent monthly waste and leakage.

This isn’t busywork. It’s a strategic diagnostic tool that forces you to look under the hood of your monthly income, expenses, savings, cash flow in ways you probably haven’t in years (or ever).

You’ll reflect on things like:

  • True Household Income → Why are you unintentionally unaware of how to assign, allocate and align your income for consistent positive monthly cash flow?

  • Everything vs. Necessary → Where is your money working for you? Where is it being wasted?

  • Short-term Financials→ Is the way you’re spending your income every month resonating with your expectation level for living the lifestyle you are living now, when you have no ability to pay cash for a $400 emergency?

  • Long-term Financials → Where are the hidden leaks that are draining your inability to invest the maximum annual contributions in 401(k), IRAs, Brokerage investment Accounts to retire with confidence and money?

  • Strategic Exit → When do you plan to retire?  Where are you now in terms of retirement eligibility? The value: Most people are so busy acquiring things, houses, cars, mortgage, clothes, trips, they’ve never paused to step back and set priorities and develop a vision for their future. By the time you finish this assessment, you’ll already have more clarity about where your personal finances are not working, where they’re leaking, and how to capitalize on untapped opportunities.

Step 2: Money Strategist Analysis

I’ll carefully review your assessment with a fine tooth comb and follow up with 2-3 rounds of clarifying questions. This is where I dig deeper in the details, uncover the real story, align your answers with reality and not fantasy, and ensure we’re working with the real story behind your numbers-monhly income, expenses, savings, investment, and decisions—- or lack thereof.

Step 3: Two One-Hour Empowered Exit Strategic Review Zoom calls with Rita, The Money Strategist

This isn’t a typical coaching call, it’s a Strategic Review of you, your income and your life. During our session, I’ll:

  • Present my financial analysis: where you are currently financially, your short-term and long-term goals, and how to close the gap.

  • Outline opportunities for increased cash flow and lessening expenses.

  • Recommend restructuring for your finances based on achieving your one, three, five and 10 year goals.

  • Address your biggest concerns about where and how to pivot to reach your goals.

  • Ground every decision in strategy + financial data.

You’ll leave these two meetings clear on what to do, how to decide, and why, with details outlining your personal financial management strategy.

Step 4: Empowered Exit Financial Action Plan

Within 5 business days, you’ll receive your Financial Action Plan summarizing:

  • Recommendations for monthly savings and spending plan for positive cash flow.

  • Restructure your execution for allocation, assigning and aligning overall finances.

  • A Strategic, Prioritized, and Realistic Empowered Financial Plan with detailed action items.

Step 5: 2-weeks of follow-up support with Rita

You’ll have 2 weeks of 1:1 support inside to refine your decisions, gain confidence, and move forward as you begin implementing the plan.

The Empowered Financial Plan  is designed to be a focused, 30-day process:

  • Week 1: You complete your in depth pre-work financial  assessment questionnaire.

  • Week 2: I conduct financial analysis, reviewing your responses, asking clarifying questions, and scheduling your two one hour Zoom sessions.

  • Weeks 3–4: You receive your Financial Action Plan and 2 weeks of 1:1 follow-up (via Zoom, voice calls, Google Meets, notes,) as you begin implementing.
